off to LA

Wow... Jer and i sure had a thanksgiving to remember... it was so super fun! so we decided that we were going to spend this thanksgiving just the two of us and headed of to LA. I had never been there before but thanks to the gps we made it! it really was a blast... the night we got there it was late and we ordered nasty pizza, watched some tv. :) then on thanksgiving we drove all around and went to this really open mall. We walked around and saw homeless people dressed up as charcters from disney movies... so funny... Then we drove to the hollywood sign and then went to universal studios. i must say we found the BEST store! it was called sugar and it had so much candy in it!! :) it also had cute t-shirts and such but we stuck to buying the candy.... as for thanksgiving night.... everything was closed. it was even becoming comical because of how hungry we were. but we were thankful to find a black angus and enjoyed dinner and delicious cheesecake! :) the next day we went to laguna beach to be with joel and morgan. (joel was jer's mission buddy) it was so fun! we went to the beech and tried to surf, went to a little art show, went to a crazy sushi restaurant,(ya we found out that sushi isn't really our style :) then we got ice cream and called it a night.
it was such a fun trip and so nice to have a break from school for me and work for jer. we just love getting to be together!
